I told my nephew that it felt like the pharma industry had decided to use my site as it’s new ad venue.
So glad that’s o….ver.

After a difficult year on the planet Earth,
We are all happy to celebrate Julia’s birth.
On top of the new baby, our Mary’s engaged,
Bakers at college, and Bobby’s on his way,
Kris and Bill are blissfully wedded,
To Austin their shared kidlets are happily headed.
Haley’s the footwear entreprneur of her dreams,
And Cameron has splashed into the fun [...]

To William Boyd as he turns eighty
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of your birth,
I am writing this poem to admire your girth,
Of character, that is, and humor, and love,
You are the old man that I am thinking of,
You are the father that sang “Tell Me Why”
You are [...]

I know it’s an old concept, but it remains a good one.
If you get a chance to help someone, make the effort.
It will be appreciated and it will come back to you 100 fold.
Right now, everybody needs a little help, so why not pay it forward?
It will put a smile on everyone (including you).

Right now I am reading a fabulous book: Three Cups of Tea.
It has totally captured me.  It combines adventure travel, exotic culture, and
humanitarian initiative;   three topics that I admire and aspire to.
If you have the same inclinations, this story will captivate.

My nephew Bob is a very bright fellow. He lives in Boston (and you guessed it)He’s a techie.
He is the one who got me to word press, to start my blogging career. So here I am, and here I’ll be every day forward.
